The Rotary Club of Burwood's Primary School Citizenship Awards Night is back after a one year hiatus due to the COVID pandemic!
PRISCA is an annual dinner awards ceremony that recognizes Year 5 and 6 students predominantly from the Western and South-Western Sydney areas (including Burwood) who are nominated by their schools for demonstrating leadership skills and an outstanding commitment to the community.

These students are traditionally awarded with a certificate, monetary reward and a free meal which are presented to them at PRISCA by a dignitary such as the Mayor of Burwood Council, or local Member of Parliament, in front of their family and teachers.

The Rotary and Rotaract Clubs of Burwood have run this event for the benefit of the community for 30 years. The event is not run for the benefit of the members of Rotary or Rotaract, but as a way to give back to the community and recognise the achievements, large and small, of the next generation of our community.
