Message from Pres John
I attended the Rotary District 9675 Conference – Aspire to Inspire along with Lorraine, PP Walter Bock and Lynne and PDG Paul Sarks.
The Conference was a full-packed informative day with inspiring keynote speakers including
our police commander Christine McDonald, thought-provoking conversations and fresh
ideas with other attendees and three engaging breakout sessions.
In the evening, the Grand Gala Dinner was spectacular and featured colourful celebration
and Rotary fellowship, a Best Dressed Ramp Walk Parade (Men, Women and Couples), great
food and Bollywood themed entertainment. DG Renga Rajan indeed give us an excellent conference.
Next year’s district conference was announced and it will be held out of Sydney. Details will
be given at tonight’s meeting. We received this email from the District Governor.

Thank you for being part of our Rotary District 9675 Conference, “Aspire to Inspire.”
From the inspiring sessions in the morning to the engaging conversations throughout the day, and the vibrant Bollywood Gala Dinner in the evening, it was truly a memorable celebration of Rotary fellowship, learning, and service.
Your presence, enthusiasm, and active participation made the conference special. Our speakers also shared how much they appreciated the focus, attention, and warm engagement from our Rotarians and guests.
On behalf of the Conference Team, Conference Director Bharathi and I would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who attended, supported, volunteered, and contributed in so many ways to make this conference a great success.
Together, we truly lived the spirit of Aspire to Inspire.

Meeting opened By Pres John at 6.25 with the Rotary Affirmation.

Presidents Report: 50th Anniversary Trust discussion regarding legal requirement after recent Zoom Meeting and advertising the Trust to Schools and others. Presidents meeting Thursday 19th March. RYLA had only 18 attendees this year, RYPEN 1-5 May looking for Applicants.There is discussion within Rotary about possible district changes starting 1 July 2028. One proposal would see all of New South Wales combined into a single district. This proposal has not yet been finalised. District Conference next Saturday

Eurella is running a fundraiser with " Comedy for a Cause " on Friday March 20th at Burwood RSL 7.00 for 7.30 .
Days for Girls Fundraiser

Days for Girls is holding their major fundraiser for the year on Sunday, 31 May - a Gala Lunch. Last year's event was fabulous, and this year's is going to be even better than last year's. We have a celebrity MC - Josh Horner, ex Dancing with the Stars judge, and the speaker is Jessica Rowe, journalist, TV presenter. We have music and dancing - so much fun!
Feel free to invite friends, family, business colleagues to help over 2000 girls to attend school every day, and achieve improved health, education and livelihood outcomes.
