We are launching the Rotary's Adopt a Tree Project this coming Tuesday and Wednesday with five Bunnings sites where a lifelike artificial tree (3m high) with 200 live plants to promote this ongoing project. The launch will be an opportunity to show Rotary's dedication to growing our communities through a co-ordinated tree planting project. Rotarians will be asked to encourage the public to take home an information flyer and adopt their trees via their own phone or computer.

Members of the public, as well as Rotarians, can adopt as many trees as they wish at $5.00 each, via the website https://rotaryadoptatree.org.au/adopt-a-tree.  They can choose to have the names of their children, grandchildren, pets, etc on the certificate.

Once adopted, trees will be propagated by professionals and people adopting a tree will be invited to plant the tree in April/May when the planting season is good for the bushfire affected or bush regeneration is required.

Rotary Clubs have been asked if their members would like to roster on at the 5 Bunnings sites to promote the project.  If you are not rostered on next week at the various selected sites we are asking you to use your social media to share and spread the message, our aim is for 10,000 trees.

The $5.00 donation for the adoption will go to the Rotary Smith Family scholarships and certificates of adoption will be sent out in February. So adopt a tree for yourself or your children or employees.
