First of all, wish you a happy new year and hope you all had a good festive season. I have been reading the weekly newsletter, and it looks great. I thought of giving you a quick update from our side. Manosha and I have moved permanently to Adelaide to be closer to her parents and sister since the end of last year.
Due to Covid lock down etc, we could not see her parents and thought of being closer to them would be a good idea. It was a very quick and sudden decision. "Happy WIFE - Happy LIFE" so I have to do it. We both are very happy that we made that decision. .
We did face difficulty in moving to Adelaide because of the border lock down. We ended up getting stuck in Broken Hill for almost 7 weeks in an AirBnB, to get the SA Border approval. We did not expect that it would take that long when we went through the sale of our house.
Even though we were in Broken Hill for that long, we did not see anything in Broken Hill as it was during the state-wide lockdown. All we saw was the local Coles and Woolworth. Finally we got to Adelaide and we are settling now.
Unfortunately, we could not see you all and any of our friends before we left but we are hoping to visit in a few months and see you all in person. I am hoping to be part of the Friends of Burwood Rotary and see the latest updates and news.
