Rob Whitney Youth programes. RYPEN sponsorship, next one in August, Smith Family did not send anyone,  MUNA closed last week and no one from BGHS this year.

RYDA. Driving coming up, was successful in the past Conducted at Olympic Park. We should look for nominees from schools,

Alfonso.  Came in 1978. Opened a cake shop which is stil operating.  Opened to make European style cakes. Soon became an icon in the area and they went very well. Won awards for cakes and decorations. Once made the tallest cake to make 26 tiers, but he made 27. Went to Wembley stadium so they went up two tiers to 29 which held the record for 7 years. And subsequently won many more awards, but now the demographic in burwood has changed and the street is now very different. They made unusual cakes even making cakes for the visiting football team Juventus. Been at 228 Burwood Road since 1978 trading as Mancuso's.

Simon from BCWS. Was painting the office space on the weekend. Helped by pp John Mansour, Alf Dimarco. Fred Walker and Peter Moore. Thanks very much. Others came back Sunday and gave a second coat. It all looks very fresh now. Many infrastructure project to do and will be looking for a new place in the Burwood Centre, Doing a business plan and looking for a new name. Thanks to those for coming to help wit the painting.

Report from Gingoog by PP Walter Bock

I received another email from Juvie and MinPRA in Gingoog. Somehow, miraculously they avoided much damage to themselves. On the compound it appears two fruit trees came down and the other crop was damaged. On the mountain property the damage was even less. They hate asking for help but they would like to help the island of Dinagat where Vera took a team on a SewAID Mission a couple of years ago.

Jumping to September 2021, downtown Frankfurt on a Friday afternoon in brilliant weather. Stepping out of the car to greet 3 people I have not seen for 30 year in front of their hotel.
